When my pug Coco crossed the rainbow bridge after 14 wonderful years, the silence at home was crushing. I looked everywhere for a plush that actually felt like her: something that captured her face, her markings, the way she looked. But everything I found was tiny, overpriced, or stiffly mass-produced. Nothing came close.
So I dusted off my sewing machine, recruited my parents and siblings, and turned our spare room into a small family workshop. I made Coco myself.
When I held that first plush, I understood something I hadn't been able to put into words: what grieving pet owners need isn't a generic toy, it's something that looks like them.
I realized I wasn't alone in that feeling. Every day, millions of pet owners go through the same grief: the loss of an animal who was family, not just a pet. And every day, they search for something to hold onto. Something that looks like them. Something real.
In 2022, I turned that first handcrafted plush into Petslify, a belief that every pet deserves to be remembered with the same love they gave.
Since then, with the help of my husband Niko, Petslify has grown into a real company, family-owned and managed, not a spare room, with a team of skilled artisans who hand-craft every single order from scratch. Today every order is produced in our dedicated workshop facility, a professional production space with its own equipment and quality checks, not a home operation.
My husband Niko saw what it meant to me and joined me to build it, and we have run Petslify together ever since.
It is still a family business. Our artisans hand-craft every plush in the workshop, and a small team looks after each order from the day it comes in to the day it ships. Nothing moves down an assembly line here, and no pet is just an order number.

We make custom stuffed animals for dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, and more. If you have clear photos, we can create it, regardless of breed, coloring, or markings.
